On behalf of the Peace by Piece Programme, delegates are invited to attend a three-day conference in Belfast, Northern Ireland from 24-26 June 2008

The conference will be based around three themes:

Day 1: Women living in conflict

Day 2: Women moving into transition

Day 3: Women maintaining peace

This will be an opportunity for women across Northern Ireland, Europe and international arenas to come together to share experiences and in particular gain an insight into the diversity and strength of the women’s sector in Northern Ireland and their role in strengthening communities and contributing to politics and policy development.

The conference will feature local Northern Irish and international speakers, visits to key projects, discussions with academics and interface groups, exhibitions, theatre, music, film and bus tours.

Peace by Piece is a programme for women developed by a partnership of NGOs in Northern Ireland
