Seanna O'Hara
Séanna is 26 and is a young woman who has lived in the Short Strand area of East Belfast all her life.
She was educated at her local primary school and later at St.Louise’s College, Falls Road Belfast. From a young age she has always been interested in the development of her area and at sixteen become a senior leader at her local youth club.
Séanna has progressed through her career with young people gaining valuable qualifications and experiences in her chosen field.
She now works as the Young Women’s Development Worker for the Short Strand Community Forum based in East Belfast.
Despite living on an interface, and suffering directly at the hands of the conflict, Séanna works tirelessly with young women actively encouraging them to play a part in the future of life in the North of Ireland.
